The Belchatow power plant, Sept. 28, 2011, in Belchatow, near Lodz central Poland. Poland’s largest electricity producer PGE, started a new 858-megawatt generator earlier this year at its Elektrownia Belchatow coal-fired power plant, making it one of the largest in the world.
